Experience:

Camera Settings
Manual mode is preferred, or Aperture Priority (AV) mode with a proper understanding of ISO and exposure settings.
Never use AUTO mode.
Exposure & Lighting:
Avoid overexposed or underexposed images. Keep your histogram values centered.
Maintain a minimum shutter speed of 1/160.
Always bring speedlights/flash/alternative lighting – do not rely on increasing ISO to compensate for low light.
Use soft lighting and avoid harsh, directly oriented flash. A diffuser is required.
Indoors, always use flash in low-light conditions where natural light is insufficient.
Image Composition:
Ensure a straight horizon in all shots.
Capture positive emotions of people.
Equipment Maintenance:
Keep your camera sensor clean to avoid dust spots.
